About Kata

The people behind Kata

Kata is martial arts studio software, and it is in private beta. We are opening to twelve founding studios, and every one of them is onboarded by hand by the three people who build the product.

How we work

Four promises that are already true

Onboarded by hand

Every founding studio is set up by the three of us, not by a help article and a video.

Month to month

No annual contract, thirty days notice, and nothing in Kata is ever built to lock you in.

Your data is yours

Export everything you have put into Kata whenever you want it.

Payments you can see

One dashboard for what was billed, what cleared and what failed, so a missed payment is caught this week and not next quarter.

Next step

Come in while there is room

Twelve founding studios, and we reply within two business days.
